Friends (http://withfriends.co) is a crowdfunding tool for event organizers. We help you convert your audience into monthly supporting members.

End of Year Campaigns
We launched a killer feature, end of year campaigns, that help our customers boost membership growth just in time for the giving season.
Incoming! 37 Event Organizers
After solving early speed and usability issues with our batch of 10 pilots, we extended our private beta to more than 20 new organizations for their holiday fundraising season.
Stay tuned! We’ll promote them regularly, and we guarantee these are fantastic and treasured places to get more involved with a membership.
1700 tickets sold, turning into $17K raised for our pilots, and > 200 members
We’re earning venues almost $10 in extra income per ticket! It’s enlightening how consistently our stats hover at 20% conversion from audience to supporters. That means people really want to be more involved in culture they love.
We’ll work hard to reinforce that experience so that for people who love what you stand for, it’s just a no-brainer to join you and become a supporting member, and we’ll make it as easy as possible to do so.
We’ll also keep iterating our platform to help you set up memberships smoothly, help you and your members stay engaged and excited over time, and help you learn from your members, so you can get even better at what you’re doing well.
Friends at Maryland Institute College of Art
We presented Friends at MICA, as part of a talk on money in creative work — it was insightful to bring our vision for a marketplace that supports independent businesses better to a new city. The department was super helpful in connecting us to partners in Providence and Baltimore 🙏🏽

What’s next?
Kunal is working on tweaking our infrastructure to handle large scale gracefully. It feels really good to make things fast enough.
